Bible Teach
Witness: Now many people suffer from sickness, like colds or even cancer. Have you or your family experienced sickness?
Non-Witness: Yes, we have.
Witness: Do you think people will continue to get sick?
Non-Witness: Yes, I think things will continue as they always have.
Witness: Let me show you the Bible’s answer to that question. [Show Isaiah 33:24, pause at the sign “sick.”] While that is how people are now, notice what the next sign is. [Continue showing Isaiah 33:24, pause at the sign “none.”] Can you imagine nobody being sick? How would you feel?
Non-Witness: That would be wonderful!
Witness: This will happen. God promises it. Let me show you a short explanation of that promise. [Show Bible Teach, chapter 3, paragraph 22.] That explanation is part of this DVD. [Show a physical copy of Bible Teach—On DVD.] I would like to leave it with you. The next time I visit, we can discuss more about this topic.
Bible Teach
Witness: Have you ever faced a serious situation in which you were unsure what to do or decide?
Non-Witness: Yes, I have.
Witness: Well, the Bible can help you! [Show James 1:5, pause after the signs “come-on help.”] So what is the Bible’s advice?
Non-Witness: We should ask God for help.
Witness: Yes, you should pray to God for help. And then what will He do? Notice the rest of the scripture. [Allow scripture to continue to the end of the verse.] What did the scripture say?
Non-Witness: He will help me know what to do.
Witness: Yes, He will help you know what to do! You can approach God in prayer. But how should we pray? This DVD will explain. [Show a copy of Bible Teach—On DVD.] If you have a few minutes more, perhaps I can show you a brief portion of the same video on my tablet. [Show Bible Teach, chapter 17, paragraph 6.] What did you notice about how God wants us to pray?
Non-Witness: He wants us to have faith.
Witness: That’s right. Next time I visit, we can discuss more about this topic.
