Questions Answered

Witness: We all want to be happy, don’t we? What do you think makes people happy?

Non-Witness: Money, friends, perhaps other things. I’m not sure.

Witness: Jesus explained how to find true happiness. [He shows Luke 11:28.] Did you notice what Jesus said would make us happy?

Non-Witness: Listening to the word of God word and obeying it, right?

Witness: Yes! But many people feel that God’s Word, the Bible, is hard to understand or that they are just too busy to find the time to learn about it. Do you ever feel that way?

Non-Witness: Sure, I do. I am very busy.

Witness: This DVD has been a real help to many people. It explains the Bible’s answers to different questions, and the lessons are less than five minutes each! So, in just a few minutes, it is easy to learn something which can help us to have a happier life. You can choose from the following topics [He uses the back of the DVD cover to point to the corresponding pictures]: the Bible, the future, family life, who controls the world, whether suffering will ever end, whether we can see dead loved ones again, and God’s Kingdom. Which topic interests you?

Non-Witness: I’d be interested in knowing if I can see dead loved ones again.

Witness: Excellent. The next time I visit, we can discuss that subject.

Questions Answered

Witness: I wanted to ask your opinion regarding this picture: [He shows the opening image of Will Suffering End? (T-34 1) on tablet.] Can you think of a reason why this woman might look so distraught?

Non-Witness: Perhaps she just lost her job and can’t afford to feed her children.

Witness: Very good! I thought that perhaps she just learned that she has cancer or another illness. Either of us could be right, but our having different ideas proves the point that there are many causes of suffering today. Do you think that there could ever be a time when there is no more suffering?

Non-Witness: I wish that was possible, but I don’t know if it will happen.

Witness: Please notice what God says about our future. [He shows Revelation 21:3, 4, beginning with the signs “GOD ATTENTION SUPPORT” through the end of verse 4.]

Non-Witness: So God says that suffering will be no more?

Witness: Yes, isn’t that wonderful? But how do we know that we can believe that promise? There are two points made on this DVD. Notice the first. [He shows paragraph 4a on tablet (T-34 4).]

Non-Witness: I see, God hates suffering and injustice.

Witness: Yes, that’s right. When I return, we can discuss the other reason we know we can look to the future with hope.
