WƐ́ÐƐ́ 88 Make Me Know Your Ways

ÐƐ-KƆ̃IN-GMƆÌN-GMƆÌNa

1. Xwɛ̀ nyɔ pàɖà ɓè nyu zɛ̃̀ɛ̀ fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò jè gbo wɔ̃́ìn nyɛ́? (Nɔ́ɔ́ 1:20, 21)

IN PLENTY countries, we been seeing our brother and sister them standing in area where plenty people can pass. They can smile and give people something to read. Maybe you yourself na do this type of preaching before. If you na do it, maybe this one make you to think about the scripture in Proverbs that talk about wisdom calling for people to hear it advice. (Read Proverbs 1:20, 21.) The Bible and our publications having Jehovah wisdom and that “true wisdom.” People need this wisdom so that they can get everlasting life. It can make us happy when someone accept one of our publications. But everybody can’t accept it. Some people can’t want know what the Bible say. Other people can laugh at us. They think that the Bible too old for people to use. And other people can talk against what the Bible say about the right way to live. They can be thinking that people who can follow what the Bible say, hard to deal with. But still, Jehovah can show love by continuing to give his wisdom to everybody. How he can do it?

2. Xwɛ̀ jàà fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò nyu zɛ̃̀ɛ̀ dyí vòɛ̀ kɛ́, kɛɛ ɖɛ́ nyɔ ɓè gã ɓɛ́ wa ké nyuɛ́?

2 One way Jehovah can give true wisdom to people, that through his Word, the Bible. Almost everybody get Bible. How about our publication them that explain the Bible? Because of Jehovah blessing, we get these publication them in more than 1,000 languages. Those who can read and apply what they learn, will benefit. But most people na decide not to listen to Jehovah. When they get decisions to make, they prefer to depend on theirself or listen to other people. Some of them can even act rude on us because we decide to follow what the Bible say. This article will talk about why people can behave like that. But first, let us talk about how we can get wisdom from Jehovah.

3. Ðɛ́ jàà fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò ɓá dyíɛ́?

3 Wisdom mean to be able to use what we know to make good-good decisions. But, true wisdom mean more than that. The Bible say: “The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Most Holy One is understanding.” (Prov. 9:10) So when we get important decision to make, it good for us to first look for Jehovah thinking. We can do this by studying the Bible and our publication them. This will show that we really wise.—Prov. 2:5-7.

4. Xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ́ kɔ̃̀ jè Jɛhova ɖòùn ɓɛ́àìn nyɔ jàà fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò nyíɛ kɛ́?

4 Jehovah that the only person who can give us true wisdom. (Rom. 16:27) Why we can say that wisdom come from Jehovah? First, Jehovah that the Creator, and he know and understand everything that he created. (Ps. 104:24) Second, everything Jehovah can do show that he wise. (Rom. 11:33) Third, Jehovah wise advice can benefit those who can apply it. (Prov. 2:10-12) If we really want be wise, we must accept what the Bible say and allow it to guide our decisions and actions.

5. Ɔ jù ké nyɔ ɓè seɛ gbo wɔ̃́ìn kà jàà fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò Sɔ̀ìn ɖé Jɛhova gboɛɛ ní, nìí, ɖɛ́ sɔ̀ìn ɖéɛ múɛ́?

5 Plenty people in the world agree that they get plenty fine-fine things around them but they say nobody created them. Other people believe in God, but they think the Bible too old for people to use today so they can do their own thing. What the result? You think the world na get better because people doing their own thing instead of what God say? You think they na find real happiness or real hope for the future? What we na see around us convince us about what the Bible say here: “There is no wisdom, nor discernment, nor counsel in opposition to Jehovah.” (Prov. 21:30) This one can encourage us to continue asking Jehovah to give us true wisdom! But it sad that most people can’t do it. Why?

XWÍNÍÍN KƆ̃̀ JÈ NYƆ ƁÈ SEÀ JÀÀ FƆ̀NƆ̀-HWÒÐÒ GBO WƆ̃́ÌN NYƐ

6. Kà Nɔ́ɔ́ 1:22-25 nyuà cɛ̃ɛ kɛɛ, nyɛ́ seà jàà fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò ɖùù gbo tòɛ̀ mɔ́ kɛ́?

6 Plenty people can’t want listen to true wisdom. According to the Bible, they get three groups of people who can’t want listen. That ‘inexperience people,’ “ridiculers,” and ‘foolish people.’ (Read Proverbs 1:22-25.) Let see why these people can’t want listen to wisdom and wetin we can do so we can’t be like them.

7. Xwíníín nyɛ́ kɔ̃̀ jè nyɔ ɖíɛ́ ɓè gãà ɓɛ́ wa kéà “se-hwòɖò-kɔ̃in-cɛ̃̀-ɖɛ̀ xwai-nyu-nyɔ̀” jù kánáá puɛ́?

7 The ‘inexperience people’ that those who can believe everything they hear and they easy to fool. (Prov. 14:15, ftn.) Most of the time, we can meet people like that in our ministry. For example, think about the plenty people who the big-big God people and politicians can fool. Some of them can feel very-very bad when they get to know that their leaders being lying to them. But the people that Proverbs 1:22 talking about can decide to remain inexperience because they like it that way. (Jer. 5:31) They can enjoy doing their own thing and can’t want learn or obey what the Bible say. One woman from Canada who like God business told one Jehovah Witness say, “If our priest lying to us, that he will be responsible, that not us!” And that how plenty people can feel. We not want be like people who decide to be inexperience!—Prov. 1:32; 27:12.

8. Ðɛ́ mu à gbo kpáùn ɓɛ́ à ké hwòɖò kɔ̃in cɛ̃̀ kɛ́?

8 The Bible get good reason to encourage us not to remain inexperience but to “become full-grown in [our] understanding.” (1 Cor. 14:20) We can get the right experience by applying Bible principles in our life. If we do it, we will see for ourself how Bible principles can help us to avoid problems and make wise decisions. It good to check ourself to see how we been doing when it come to making decisions. If we been studying and attending meetings for some time now, we need to ask ourselves why we not dedicate our life to Jehovah and get baptize yet. If we baptize, we improving in the way we can preach and teach the good news? Our decisions can show that we following Bible principles? We can treat other people the same way Jesus use to treat people? If we need to make changes, we must think good-good about what Jehovah say that can ‘make the inexperience person wise.’—Ps. 19:7.

9. Xwɛ̀ “nyɔ-dyɔ́-ɓaɖa-nyɔ̀” ɓè nyuɛ tɛ̀mɛ̀ìn kà wa ɓɔ́ fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò kɛ́?

9 The second group of people who can’t want listen to Jehovah wisdom that the “ridiculers.” Sometime, we can see people them like that in the ministry. They can enjoy making fun of other people. (Ps. 123:4) The Bible warn that in the last days, ridiculers will be plenty. (2 Pet. 3:3, 4) Just how Lot son-in-law them never listen, that the same way some people today not listening to the warning from God. (Gen. 19:14) They can laugh at those who can obey what the Bible say. They can behave like that because they can want follow “their own desires for ungodly things.” (Jude 7, 17, 18) The way the Bible describe ridiculers just match the attitude of apostates and other people who not want listen to Jehovah!

10. Kà ɔ nyuà céèɛ̀ ɖé Wɛ́ɖɛ́ 1:1 múɛɛ, xwɛ̀ à ɓɛ́ìn nyɔ-dyɔ́-ɓaɖa-nyɔ̀ ɓèɔ̀ dyí ɓàɖàìn nyɛ́?

10 Wetin we can do to make sure that we can’t become ridiculers? One way that to stay away from people who like complaining too much. (Read Psalm 1:1.) This mean that we must not listen to or read anything from apostates. We need to be careful not to start complaining about everything. Because it will make us to stop trusting Jehovah and the direction we can get from his organization. We need to think on these question them to protect ourselves: ‘I can always complain when we receive new direction or explanations? I like to complain about the brother them who taking the lead?’ When we stop thinking like that quick, Jehovah will be happy with us.—Prov. 3:34, 35.

11. Xwɛ̀ “zuɖuu-nyɔ̀” ɓèɔ̀ nyu Jɛhovaa gma ɓèɔ̀ dya gmɔ̀ɔ̀ kɛ́?

11 The third group of people who can want listen to wisdom that the ‘foolish people.’ They foolish because they refuse to live by what God say. But they can decide to do their own thing. (Prov. 12:15) People like that refuse to accept Jehovah who can give true wisdom. (Ps. 53:1) When we see some of them in the field service, they can talk bad-bad things about us because we living by what the Bible say. But they not able to give us anything better in life. The Bible say, “True wisdom is unattainable for a fool; he has nothing to say in the city gate.” (Prov. 24:7) Foolish people not get any good advice to give us. That why Jehovah warn us to “stay away from the foolish man”!—Prov. 14:7.

12. Ðɛ́ mu à gbo kpáùn ɓɛ́ à ké se zuɖuu-nyɔ̀ ɓèɛ̀ nyuu-ɖɛ̀ kíɖíí sí kɛ́?

12 We not want be like those who hate Jehovah advice. But we want learn to love the way God can think and live by what he say. We can make that love strong by comparing the result we can get when we obey with what can happen when we disobey. See the kind na problems people can bring on themselves because they refuse to listen to Jehovah advice. Then think about how your life better because you obey God.—Ps. 32:8, 10.

13. Jɛhova kpɔ̃ìn à ganaún ɓɛ́ à ké ɔ fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò sɛ́ɖɛ́ìn dyíɔ̀ kíɖíí síì?

13 Jehovah can give his advice to everybody but he can’t force anybody to accept it. But He tell us what can happen when people not listen to His advice. (Prov. 1:29-32) Those who decide to not obey Jehovah will bear the full weight of their action. The way they live their life will make them to suffer later on and in the end, Jehovah will destroy them. But Jehovah made the promise to those who listen to His wise advice. He say, “The one listening to me will dwell in security and be undisturbed by the dread of calamity.”—Prov. 1:33.

When we comment in meetings, it can really make our friendship with Jehovah strong (See paragraph 15)

14-15. Ðɛ́ à cɛ̃́ sɔ̀ìn Nɔ́ɔ́ 4:23 múɛ́?

14 When we apply the wisdom from God, we can always benefit. We finish learning that Jehovah na gave his advice to everybody. For example, in the book of Proverbs, he gave us advice that will always work when we apply it. Let look at four examples of that wise advice.

15 Protect your figurative heart. The Bible say: “Above all the things that you guard, safeguard your heart, for out of it are the sources of life.” (Prov. 4:23) Think about all the things we need to do to protect our real heart. We need to eat good food, do enough exercise, and avoid bad habits. We can do something like that to protect our figurative heart. We can study the Bible every day. We can prepare for, and attend meetings and make comment. We can always do our best in the field service. And we can avoid getting in bad habits by staying away from anything that can spoil our thinking, like, bad entertainment and bad friends.

One family satisfy with their house. The ma cooking something small on the fire. Near her, the pa using the book “Lessons You Can Learn From the Bible” to study with their two children.

If we not worry too much about money business, it will help us to be satisfy with anything we get (See paragraph 16)

16. Xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ́ kɔ̃̀ jè Nɔ́ɔ́ 23:4, 5 kpaà ɖɛ zɛ̃̀ɛ̀ kɛ́?

16 Be satisfy with what you get. The Bible give this advice: “Do not wear yourself out to gain wealth. . . . When you cast your eyes on it, it is not there, for it will surely sprout wings like an eagle and fly off into the sky.” (Prov. 23:4, 5) Material things can’t last. But still, the rich and poor people today can worry too much about money business. That why most of the time, they can do things that can spoil their name, their friendship with other people, and even their health. (Prov. 28:20; 1 Tim. 6:9, 10) But wisdom can help us to not worry too much about money business. And this will help us to not be greedy, but to be satisfy and happy with what we get.—Eccl. 7:12.

One sister gossiping to the other sister them in the congregation. Two of the sisters enjoying it while the other sister thinking about what she hearing.

If we think before we talk, it will help us to not make other people feel bad (See paragraph 17)

17 Think before you talk. If we not careful, we can cause big problem with our mouth. The Bible say: “Thoughtless speech is like the stabs of a sword, but the tongue of the wise is a healing.” (Prov. 12:18) We can get good relationship with people when we avoid gossiping about their mistakes. (Prov. 20:19) If we want for what we say to comfort people and not to hurt them, we must always read and think on what the Bible say. (Luke 6:45) When we think on what the Bible say, our words can be just like “fountain of wisdom” that can comfort other people.—Prov. 18:4.

One sister watching the example for preaching video from the midweek meeting and taking notes. She get her notebook, some tracts and her phone with the JW Library app open.

If we follow the direction from the organization, it can help us to improve in the ministry (See paragraph 18)

18. Xwɛ̀ Nɔ́ɔ́ 24:6 ɓɛ́ìn à gbo kpáa ɓɛ́ à ké kpáná dyé ɖé à wuɖu-wáɖá-kũ̀àɔ̀ múɛ́?

18 Follow direction. The Bible give us good advice. It say: “By wise guidance you will wage your war, and through many advisers there is success.” (Prov. 24:6, ftn.) How this verse can help us to preach and teach good-good? We must try to follow the suggestions the organization give us on how to preach and teach, instead of doing it our own way. We get wise direction from our Christian meetings. That the place our brother them can use the Bible to teach us. Apart from that, Jehovah organization can give us publications and videos that we can use to help people understand the Bible. We encourage you to learn how to use these tools the right way?

19. Xwɛ̀ nì hwòɖò nyu nìɛ̀ ɓá fɔ̀nɔ̀-hwòɖò ɓɛ́ Jɛhova nyíà à kɛɛ jè dyíɛ́? (Nɔ́ɔ́ 3:13-18)

19 Read Proverbs 3:13-18. We too grateful for the good advice that in the Bible! Without it we will never be happy. In this article, we na see some examples of good advice that in the book of Proverbs. In fact, the whole Bible get good advice from Jehovah. So, let try our best to always apply his advice in every part of our life. The wisdom from God not important to plenty people. But for us, we convince that “those who keep firm hold of [wisdom] will be called happy.”
