WƐ́ÐƐ́ 145 God’s Promise of Paradise
ÐƐ-KƆ̃IN-GMƆÌN-GMƆÌNa
1. Hwɛ̀ ɓɛ́ Jízɛ̀ ké ma mɛ́ɛ, ɖɛ́ ɔ cɛ̃ ma dyíɖí-nyɔ̀ ɖò ɓɛ́ ɔ nì ma ɔ wáún wɛ̃ɛ gbo kɛ́? (Ðúù 23:39-43)
JESUS and the two criminals that were side him were suffering and dying slow-slow. (Luke 23:32, 33) The two criminals were playing fun of Jesus, so it clear that they were not his disciples. (Matt. 27:44; Mark 15:32) But one of them change his attitude. He said: “Jesus, remember me when you get into your Kingdom.” Jesus told him: “Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise.” (Read Luke 23:39-43.) Nothing show that this criminal accepted the message about ‘the Kingdom of the heavens that Jesus preach about.’ And Jesus never say the man will enter the Kingdom. (Matt. 4:17) But Jesus was talking about the Paradise that will be on earth in the future. Why we say that?
Wetin we can say about the criminal who talk with Jesus and about what he believe? (See paragraphs 2-3)
2. Ðɛ́ tɛ̀mɛ̀ìn kà dyíɖí-nyɔ̀ ɓɛ́ ɔ zĩàìn ma kà gboɛɛ mɔ̀ ma Júù-nyɔ̀ kɛ́?
2 It look like the criminal who repented was Jew. That criminal said to the other man: “Do you not fear God at all, now that you have receive the same judgment?” (Luke 23:40) The Jews use to worship one God, but the people from other nations use to worship plenty gods. (Ex. 20:2, 3; 1 Cor. 8:5, 6) If the criminal them were not Jews, maybe he was coming to ask the question like this, ‘You not scare of the gods at all?’ Also, Jesus was not sent to people of the nations, but to “the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matt. 15:24) God told the Israelites that he will resurrect people who die. Maybe the criminal who repented knew about this one. From what he said, he was thinking that Jehovah will resurrect Jesus to rule in God Kingdom. It like the man was hoping that God will also resurrect him.
3. Ðɛ́ ɓɛ́ìn ma dyíɖí-nyɔ̀ ɓɛ́ ɔ zĩàìn ma kà gboɛɛ hwìɖìi dyiɛ ti Jízɛ̀ cɛ̃ ma kà Páɖédà jè kɛ́? Zaìn kɔ̃in. (Jɛ́nɛ́sì 2:15)
3 Since the criminal was Jew, it possible he knew about the Paradise that Jehovah put Adam and Eve in. So when Jesus talk about Paradise, the criminal knew that it will be beautiful place here on earth.—Read Genesis 2:15.
4. Ɓá ɖɛ Jízɛ̀ cɛ̃ ma kà dyíɖí-nyɔ̀ ɖò gboɛ jè dyíɛɛ, ɔ muɛ nyuùn ɓɛ́ à ké ɖɛ́ jè cɛ̃ kɛ́?
4 The thing that Jesus told the criminal must make us to think about how life will be like in Paradise. In fact, we can learn something about Paradise from the way King Solomon rule was peaceful. The Bible say Jesus greater than Solomon. So we can expect that Jesus and those who working with him will make the earth beautiful paradise. (Matt. 12:42) So it clear, that the “other sheep” must be having interest in what they must do to live in Paradise forever.—John 10:16.
XWƐ̀ CĨ́-CĨ́ MU NÌÌN ÐÉ PÁÐÉDÀ MÚƐ́?
5. Ðɛ́ m̀ dè hwòɖò kɔ̃ ɓó jàà kpá jè ɖé dyúa ɓá cĩ́-cĩ́ jè dyí ɖé Páɖédà múɛ́?
5 How you think life will be looking like when you think about Paradise? Maybe you can imagine one beautiful place, like the garden of Eden. (Gen. 2:7-9) Maybe you can also remember Micah prophecy that God people will sit “each one under his vine and under his fig tree.” (Mic. 4:3, 4) Maybe you can remember some Bible verse them that talk about how food will be plenty on the earth. (Ps. 72:16; Isa. 65:21, 22) Maybe you imagine yourself in one beautiful area, sitting around one table with nice and sweet food. Then you imagine the air smelling nice from the scent of fine-fine flowers and plants. And also you imagine your family and friends—including people who resurrected—laughing and enjoying spending time together. All this one, that not just dream. We sure that these thing them will happen on earth. But in Paradise we will also do work them that we will enjoy.
We will have the important work of teaching people who will be resurrected (See paragraph 6)
6. Ðɛ́ ɓè à mu nyuɛ níin ɖé Páɖédà múɛ́? (Gmɔ̀ dyi-dyé-ɖɛ̀ɔ̀ dya.)
6 Jehovah made us to enjoy our work. (Eccl. 2:24) The main time we will be busy, that during Jesus One Thousand Year Rule. The people who will survive the great tribulation and the plenty people who will be resurrected, will need clothes, food, and place to live. For us to provide these thing them, we will need to do plenty enjoyable work! Just how Adam and Eve suppose to work hard to take care of the earth, that the same way we will enjoy working to make the earth Paradise. Also, just imagine how we will enjoy teaching the plenty people who will be resurrected that never knew more about Jehovah and his purpose. We will also help faithful people who live long before Jesus time to learn more about what happen!
7. Ðɛ́ à ɓɛ́ìn hwòɖò kɔ̃ dèɛ̀ kɛ́, ké xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ́ kɔ̃̀ jèɛ́?
7 We can be sure that in Paradise we will live in peace, we will be having all the thing them we need, and everything will be organize. Why? Because Jehovah already na show us one example about how life will be when his son ruling. And we can see that example when King Solomon was ruling.
KÃ́Á SÃ́ÐÓMÀÀ NYƆÙN-NÀÌN-NÀÌN—PÁÐÉDÀ WƆ̃-DƆ̃̀-DƆ̃̀
8. Xwɛ̀ wuɖu ɓè céèà ɖé Wɛ́ɖɛ́ 37:10, 11, 29 múɛɛ, nyu ma jàà kpáa ti Dèɓé ɖà ma wa ɓíɖíi céèɛ̀ hwɔ kɛ́? (Dyé “Dyi-Diè-Ðɛ̀ Ɓè Ɓɛ́ Céè-Ðɛ̀ Wuɖuún-Zà-Nyɔ̀ Ɓè Diè Dyi Kɛ” ɖé céè-ɖɛ̀ nìà kɛ mú.)
8 Jehovah made King David to write about how life will be looking when one wise and faithful king start ruling in the future. (Read Psalm 37:10, 11, 29.) We can always read Psalm 37:11 when we talking about paradise to other people. We get good reason to do it because Jesus use this scripture in his Sermon on the Mount, to show that it will happen in the future. (Matt. 5:5) But David words also show how life were coming be looking when King Solomon start ruling. When Solomon was ruling Israel, God people enjoy plenty peace and good things in the land that was “flowing with milk and honey.” God said: “If you continue walking in my statutes . . . , I will put peace in the land, and you will lie down with no one making you afraid.” (Lev. 20:24; 26:3, 6) All these thing them happen when Solomon was ruling. (1 Chron. 22:9; 29:26-28) And Jehovah promise that the wicked people will “be no more.” (Ps. 37:10) So the thing Psalm 37:10, 11, 29 say, happen way back and it will also happen in the future.
9. Ðɛ́ kã́á-màà sɔ̀àìn Síɓà-ɓòɖòɔ̀ kɔ̃ɛɛ cɛ̃ ma ɓá Kã́á Sã́ɖómàà nyɔùn-nàìn-kpèɔ̀ jè dyíɛ́?
9 The queen of Sheba heard about the peace and the plenty good things the Israelites were enjoying when Solomon was ruling. She came from far off just to see for herself how things were looking. (1 Ki. 10:1) After she took her time to see how Solomon kingdom was looking, she said: “I had not been told the half. . . . Happy are your men, and happy are your servants who stand before you constantly, listening to your wisdom!” (1 Ki. 10:6-8) But the thing them that was happening in Israel under Solomon government, was just small example of what Jehovah will do for human being when Jesus be ruling.
10. Jízɛ̀ zi Sã́ɖómà dyí ɖé hwìè nyɛ́ ɓè kɔ̃̀ xwíníín nyɛ́?
10 Jesus greater than Solomon in everything. Solomon was not perfect man. He made some serious mistakes that cause problem for God people. But Jesus that perfect King who can‘t make any mistake. (Luke 1:32; Heb. 4:14, 15) Jesus remain faithful to God even though Satan brought tests on him that was really hard. Jesus na show that he will never sin or do anything bad that will affect the people he ruling. We really bless for Jesus to be our King.
11. Xwɛ̀ Jízɛ̀ mu gbo-kpá-sɔ̃̀ dyéìn nyɛ́?
11 The 144,000 will be working with Jesus to take care of everybody and fulfill Jehovah purpose for the earth. (Rev. 14:1-3) The 144,000 that men and women who pass through plenty sufferings when they were on earth. So they will understand what we going through when they ruling with Jesus. What the main work the 144,000 will do?
ÐƐ́ NYƆ ƁÈ ƁƐ́ GEÐEPƆƆ ZÙÙƆ̀ GÃÀ KƐƐ MU NYUÙN WƐ̃́?
12. Ðɛ́ mɔ̀ kũ̀à Jɛhova mu 144,000 ɓèɔ̀ nyíìn nyɛ́?
12 The work that Jesus and the 144,000 get to do more than the work Solomon was having. King Solomon was taking care of plenty people only in one country. But those who will be ruling in God Kingdom will be taking care of plenty people who will be living all over the world. That not small blessing Jehovah gave the 144,000!
13. Kũ̀à nɔ̀mɔ̀ dyíinɔ̀ nyɛ́ nyɔ ɓè kè Jízɛ̀ muà Kã́á-ɓòɖòɔ̀ nàìn nyɛɛ mu nyuùn wɛ̃́?
13 The 144,000 will be kings and priests just like Jesus. (Rev. 5:10) When the Israelite them were under the Mosaic Law, the priest them were responsible to help the people to be alright in the body and get strong friendship with Jehovah. The Law that was “shadow of the good things to come”. So we get good reason to say that Jesus and the 144,000 get the special work to help God people to be alright in the body and get strong friendship with Jehovah. (Heb. 10:1) For now, we not know how these kings and priests will contact God people on the earth. But anything Jehovah arrange, we sure that those on earth will get the direction they need.—Rev. 21:3, 4.
ÐƐ́ “ƁÁÐÁÁ TƆ̀Ɔ̀ ƁÈƆ̀” MƐ NYU, ƁƐ́ WA KÉ PÁÐÉDÀ MÚ CĨ́Ɛ ƁƐ́ÌN NYƐ́?
14. Gbo-kpɔ̃ìn-kpɔ̃ìnɔ̀ nyɛ́ nì “ɓáɖáá tɔ̀ɔ̀ ɓèɔ̀” kè Kɛ́ɖɛ́ì ɖíí-gàà ɓèɔ̀ pṹa kɛ́?
14 Jesus call those who will be ruling with him “little flock.” (Luke 12:32) He also talk about the second group, and call them “other sheep.” These two groups will come together to make one flock that united. (John 10:16) The two groups already working together, and they will continue working together when the earth turn to Paradise. By that time the “little flock” will be in heaven and the “other sheep” will be hoping to enjoy life forever on earth. But the “other sheep” need to do some thing them now-now that will make them qualify to live in Paradise.
Even now-now we can show that we preparing to live in the coming Paradise (See paragraph 15)b
15. (a) Xwɛ̀ “ɓáɖáá tɔ̀ɔ̀ ɓèɔ̀” kè Kɛ́ɖɛ́ì ɖíí-gàà ɓèɔ̀ nyu gbo kpɔ̃ìn nyɛ́? (b) Xwɛ̀ m̀ ɓɛ́ìn ɖíí-gàà nìà tóòɔ̀ múɛɛ nyuu-ɖɛ̀ kíɖíí síɛ kɛ́? (Gmɔ̀ dyi-dyé-ɖɛ̀ɔ̀ dya.)
15 The criminal who repented was not having the opportunity to show that he grateful for what Jesus did for him because he die. But we who part of the “other sheep” having plenty opportunities now to show how we feel about Jesus. For example, we can show that we love him by the way we treat his anointed brothers. Jesus said he will judge the sheep base on how they treat his brothers. (Matt. 25:31-40) We can support Jesus brothers by having zeal in the preaching and teaching work. (Matt. 28:18-20) Because of that, we want make good use of the book them we get to do Bible study, like the Enjoy Life Now and Forever! book. If you not conducting Bible study with someone yet, try hard to start conducting Bible study with any amount of people you able to study with.
16. Ðɛ́ à ɓɛ́ìn nyuɛ kàùn, ɓɛ́ à ké cĩ́ kà à mɔ̀ Geɖepɔɔ Kã́á-ɓòɖòɔ̀ mú cĩ́ nyɔ ɓèɔ̀ ɖò kɛ́?
16 We not need to wait to be living in Paradise before we can do what Jehovah want us to do. Now-now, we can work hard to be truthful in what say and do. Also, we must try to stick to Jehovah, our husband or wife, and our brother them. If we obey Jehovah now-now in this wicked world, it will be more easy for us to obey him in Paradise. We can also learn to do small-small work, and try to get good habits that will show that we preparing to live in the New World. See the article ‘You Ready to ‘Live on the Earth’ Forever?’ in this Watchtower.
17. À hwòɖò mɛ kpá ɖé ɖei mìɔ ɓó nàmàùn sũ̀à ɓè à ɖàó dyi táà kɛ jèè? Zaìn kɔ̃in.
17 We must also fight hard to stop feeling guilty because we committed serious sin in the past. We not want use Jesus sacrifice as excuse to “practice sin willfully.” (Heb. 10:26-31) But if we really repent, ask Jehovah and the elders to help us, and change our behavior, we can be sure that Jehovah will forgive us. (Isa. 55:7; Acts 3:19) Remember what Jesus told the Pharisees: “I came to call, not righteous people, but sinners.” (Matt. 9:13) The ransom sacrifice get power to cover all our sins.
M̀ ƁƐ́ÌN CĨ́Ɛ KÁNÁÁ PU ÐÉ PÁÐÉDÀ MÚ
18. Ðɛ́ nì mu mɔ́ùn ɓɛ́ m̀ kè dyíɖí-nyɔ̀ mɛ́ìn ma kà Jízɛ̀ wáún wɛ̃ɛ ké jè cɛ̃ kɛ́?
18 Just imagine yourself in Paradise, lecturing with the criminal who talk with Jesus! The two of yor will surely talk about how yor grateful for Jesus sacrifice. And maybe you will ask him to tell you more about what happen just before Jesus die and how he was feeling when Jesus answer him. Then maybe, he himself will ask you how it was looking to live in the last days. It will really be honor to study the Bible with people like that man!—Eph. 4:22-24.
One brother happy to improve his skill during Jesus Thousand Year Rule (See paragraph 19)
19. Xwíníínɔ̀ nyɛ́ kɔ̃̀ jè à seà cĩ́-cĩ́ dyí saá mu ɖé Páɖédà mú kɛ́? (Dyé dyi-dyé-ɖɛ̀ nìà mákázĩ̀ìnɔ̀ kɔ̃ɛ.)
19 We will never get tire with life in Paradise. We will always be having interesting people to talk with and we will also be having work we will enjoy doing. The most important one, that to know more about Jehovah every day and enjoy the thing them he will provide. We will always be having plenty things to learn about him, and plenty things to learn about creation. The more we live, that the more we will love God. We really grateful to Jehovah and Jesus for promising us, that we can live forever in Paradise!
