c Das hebräische Wort ist verwandt mit dem Wort für die „Steinchen“, mit denen man das Los warf. Land wurde manchmal durch das Los verteilt (4. Mose 26:55, 56). In einem Kommentar zum Buch Daniel heißt es, das Wort bedeute hier „das, was (von Gott) für eine Person zurückgelegt wird“ (A Handbook on the Book of Daniel).
