4 “An alien resident and settler I am among YOU.+ Give me the possession of a burial place among YOU that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”+

4 And he will give to you the blessing of Abraham,+ to you and to your seed with you,+ that you may take possession of the land of your alien residences,+ which God has given to Abraham.”+

9 By faith he resided as an alien in the land of the promise as in a foreign land,+ and dwelt in tents+ with Isaac+ and Jacob,+ the heirs with him of the very same promise.+
