42 If the God of my father,+ the God of Abraham and the Dread* of Isaac,+ had not proved on my side, you would now have sent me away empty-handed. My wretchedness and the toil of my hands God has seen, and so he reproved you* last night.”+
6 And he went on to say: “I am the God of your father,* the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”+ Then Moses concealed his face, because he was afraid to look at the [true] God.*
37 But that the dead are raised up even Moses disclosed, in the account about the thornbush,+ when he calls Jehovah* ‘the God of Abraham* and God of Isaac and God of Jacob.’+
