16 Now the priest+ of Midʹi·an had seven daughters, and as usual they came and drew water and filled the gutters to water their father’s flock.+

11 While they were going up on the ascent to the city, they themselves found girls going out to draw water.+ So they said to them: “Is the seer+ in this place?”

7 A woman of Sa·marʹi·a came to draw water. Jesus said to her: “Give me a drink.”
