13 He must also put the incense upon the fire before Jehovah,+ and the cloud of the incense must overspread the Ark cover,+ which is upon the Testimony,*+ that he may not die.

40 as a memorial for the sons of Israel, to the end that no strange+ man who is not of the offspring of Aaron should come near to make incense smoke before Jehovah,+ and no one might become like Koʹrah and his assembly,+ just as Jehovah had spoken to him by means of Moses.
