27 Do not hold back good from those to whom it is owing,*+ when it happens to be in the power of your hand to do [it].+

31 He that is defrauding the lowly one has reproached his Maker,+ but the one showing favor to the poor one is glorifying Him.+

35 To the contrary, continue to love YOUR enemies and to do good and to lend+ [without interest], not hoping for anything back; and YOUR reward will be great, and YOU will be sons of the Most High,+ because he is kind+ toward the unthankful and wicked.

29 So those of the disciples determined, each of them according as anyone could afford it,+ to send a relief+ ministration to the brothers dwelling in Ju·deʹa;

18 to work at good,+ to be rich in fine works,+ to be liberal, ready to share,+

17 But whoever has this world’s means for supporting life+ and beholds his brother having need+ and yet shuts the door of his tender compassions upon him,+ in what way does the love of God remain in him?+
