17 “‘And where a man takes his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother, and he does see her nakedness, and she herself sees his nakedness, it is shame.+ So they must be cut off before the eyes of the sons of their people. It is the nakedness of his sister that he has laid bare. He should answer for his error.

22 “‘Cursed is the one who lies down with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’+ (And all the people must say, ‘Amen!’)

12 However, she said to him: “No, my brother! Do not humiliate+ me; for it is not usual to do that way in Israel.+ Do not do this disgraceful folly.+

11 And with the wife of his companion a man has done a detestable thing,+ and his own daughter-in-law a man has defiled with loose conduct;+ and his sister, the daughter of his own father, a man has humiliated in you.+
