37 But in answer to Eʹsau Isaac continued: “Here I have appointed him master over you,+ and all his brothers I have given to him as servants,+ and grain and new wine I have bestowed for his support,+ and where is there anything I can do for you, my son?”

14 And he kept garrisons placed in Eʹdom.+ In all Eʹdom he placed garrisons, and all the Eʹdom·ites came to be servants of David;+ and Jehovah kept saving David wherever he went.+

13 So he put garrisons in Eʹdom, and all the Eʹdom·ites came to be David’s servants.+ And Jehovah kept saving David wherever he went.+

5 “For in the heavens my sword+ will certainly be drenched. Look! Upon Eʹdom it will descend,+ and upon the people devoted by me to destruction+ in justice.

12 to the end that they may take possession of what is left remaining of Eʹdom,+ and all the nations* upon whom my name has been called,’+ is the utterance of Jehovah, who is doing this.*
