41 At that time Moses proceeded to set apart three cities on the side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun,+

42 for the manslayer to flee there who slays his fellow without knowing it,+ while he was not hating him formerly;+ and he must flee to one of these cities and live,+

3 for the manslayer+ who fatally strikes a soul unintentionally without knowing it to flee there; and they must serve YOU as a refuge from the avenger* of blood.+
