35 And the sons of Israel ate the manna forty years,+ until their coming to a land inhabited.+ The manna was what they ate until their coming to the frontier of the land of Caʹnaan.+

5 And the people kept speaking against God+ and Moses:+ “Why have YOU brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?+ For there is no bread and no water,+ and our soul has come to abhor the contemptible bread.”+
