5 And now if YOU will strictly obey*+ my voice and will indeed keep my covenant,+ then YOU will certainly become* my special property out of all [other] peoples,+ because the whole earth belongs to me.+

2 ‘YOU people only have I known+ out of all the families of the ground.+ That is why I shall hold an accounting against YOU for all YOUR errors.+

17 “And they will certainly become mine,”+ Jehovah of armies has said, “at the day when I am producing a special property.+ And I will show compassion upon them, just as a man* shows compassion upon his son who is serving him.+
