37 “And [yet you continue to live], because* he loved your forefathers so that he chose their seed after them*+ and brought you out of Egypt in his sight with his great power,+

15 Only to your forefathers did Jehovah get attached so as to love them, so that he chose their offspring after them,+ even YOU, out of all the peoples, as at this day.
