20“In case you go out to the battle against your enemies and you actually see horses and war chariots,+ a people more numerous than you, you must not be afraid of them; for Jehovah your God is with you,+ who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.+
4 And David got to capture from him one thousand seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand men on foot;+ and David proceeded to hamstring+ all the chariot horses,+ but he let a hundred chariot horses* of them remain.
