15 And it came about on the fourth* day that they began to say to Samson’s wife: “Fool your husband that he may tell us the riddle.+ Otherwise we shall burn you and the house of your father with fire.+ Was it to take our possessions+ that YOU people invited us here?”
6 And the Phi·lisʹtines began to say: “Who did this?” Then they said: “It was Samson the son-in-law of the Timʹnite, because he took his wife and then gave her to his groomsman.”+ At that the Phi·lisʹtines went up and burned her and her father with fire.+
10 Accordingly Am·a·ziʹah separated them, namely, the troops that had come to him from Eʹphra·im, to go to their own place. However, their anger got very hot against Judah, so that they returned to their own place in the heat of anger.+
