14 “When you eventually come into the land that Jehovah your God is giving you, and you have taken possession of it and have dwelt in it,+ and you have said, ‘Let me set a king over myself like all the nations who are round about me’;+

13 And now here is the king whom YOU have chosen, for whom YOU asked;+ and here Jehovah has put over YOU a king.+

10 “Where, then, is your king, that he may save you in all your cities,+ and your judges, [concerning] whom you said, ‘Do give me a king and princes’?+

21 But from then on they demanded a king,+ and God gave them Saul son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin,+ for forty years.
