17 And Zaʹdok+ the son of A·hiʹtub and A·himʹe·lech+ the son of A·biʹa·thar* were priests, and Se·raiʹah was secretary.

25 And Sheʹva+ was secretary,+ and Zaʹdok+ and A·biʹa·thar+ were priests.

8 As for Zaʹdok+ the priest and Be·naiʹah*+ the son of Je·hoiʹa·da and Nathan+ the prophet and Shimʹe·i+ and Reʹi and the mighty men+ that belonged to David, they did not become involved+ with Ad·o·niʹjah.*

35 Upon that the king put Be·naiʹah+ the son of Je·hoiʹa·da in place of him over the army;+ and Zaʹdok the priest the king put* in the place of A·biʹa·thar.+

2 And these are the princes*+ that he had: Az·a·riʹah* the son of Zaʹdok,+ the priest;

8 A·hiʹtub, in turn, became father to Zaʹdok;+ Zaʹdok, in turn, became father to A·himʹa·az.+
