6 Then David answered and said to A·himʹe·lech the Hitʹtite+ and A·bishʹai+ the son of Ze·ruʹiah,+ the brother of Joʹab: “Who will go down with me to Saul into the camp?” To this A·bishʹai said: “I myself shall go down with you.”+

10 And the rest of the people he gave into the hand of A·bishʹai+ his brother, that he might draw them up in formation to meet the sons of Amʹmon.+

6 Then David said to A·bishʹai:+ “Now Sheʹba+ the son of Bichʹri will be worse for us than Abʹsa·lom.+ You yourself take the servants+ of your lord and chase after him, that he may not actually find for himself fortified cities and escape before our eyes.”*

20 As for A·bishʹai+ the brother of Joʹab,+ he himself became head of the three; and he was brandishing his spear over three hundred slain, and he had a reputation like the three.*

11 And the rest of the people he gave into the hand of A·bishʹai+ his brother, that they might draw up in formation to meet the sons of Amʹmon.+
