2 O Hearer of prayer, even to you people of all flesh will come.+

8 The sacrifice of the wicked ones is something detestable to Jehovah,+ but the prayer of the upright ones is a pleasure to him.+

40 But Peter put everybody outside+ and, bending his knees, he prayed, and, turning to the body, he said: “Tabʹi·tha,* rise!” She opened her eyes and, as she caught sight of Peter, she sat up.+

19 But he reckoned that God was able to raise him up even from the dead;+ and from there he did receive him also in an illustrative way.*+

16 Therefore openly confess+ YOUR sins to one another and pray for one another, that YOU may get healed.+ A righteous man’s supplication, when it is at work,* has much force.+
