7 He went farther and now sent to Je·hoshʹa·phat the king of Judah, saying: “The king of Moʹab himself has revolted against me. Will you go with me to Moʹab in war?” To this he said: “I shall go.+ I am the same as you are; my people are the same as your people;+ my horses are the same as your horses.”

3 And Aʹhab the king of Israel went on to say to Je·hoshʹa·phat the king of Judah: “Will you go with me to Raʹmoth-gilʹe·ad?”+ At this he said to him: “I am the same as you are, and my people are like your people and with you in the war.”+

20 He that is walking with wise persons will become wise,+ but he that is having dealings with the stupid ones will fare badly.+

14 Do not become unevenly yoked* with unbelievers.+ For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have?+ Or what sharing does light have with darkness?+
