3 Then I said to the king: “Let the king himself live to time indefinite!+ Why should not my face become gloomy when the city,+ the house of the burial places of my forefathers,+ is devastated, and its very gates have been eaten up with fire?”+

4 At that the Chal·deʹans spoke to the king in the Ar·a·maʹic language:*+ “O king, live on even for times indefinite.+ Say what the dream is to your servants, and we shall show the very interpretation.”+
