27 And it came about that as soon as Aʹhab heard these words, he proceeded to rip his garments apart and to put sackcloth+ upon his flesh; and he went on a fast and kept lying down in sackcloth and walking despondently.+
30 And it came about that as soon as the king heard the woman’s words, he immediately ripped+ his garments apart; and as he was passing along upon the wall, the people got to see, and, look! sackcloth was underneath upon his flesh.
4And Morʹde·cai+ himself got knowledge of everything that had been done;+ and Morʹde·cai proceeded to rip his garments apart and put on sackcloth+ and ashes+ and go out into the middle of the city and cry out with a loud and bitter outcry.+
