18 And they began to call out to the king, but there came out to them E·liʹa·kim+ the son of Hil·kiʹah,* who was over the household, and Shebʹnah+ the secretary and Joʹah the son of Aʹsaph the recorder.

8 And in the eighteenth+ year of his reigning, when he had cleansed the land and the house, he sent Shaʹphan+ the son of Az·a·liʹah and Ma·a·seiʹah the chief of the city and Joʹah the son of Joʹa·haz the recorder to repair+ the house of Jehovah his God.

2 Then Ishʹma·el the son of Neth·a·niʹah and the ten men that happened to be with him rose up and struck down Ged·a·liʹah the son of A·hiʹkam the son of Shaʹphan with the sword.+ So he put to death the one whom the king of Babylon had commissioned over the land.+
