2 In the eleventh year of Zed·e·kiʹah, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the city was broken through.+

7 Finally the city was broken through;+ and as regards all the men of war, they began to run away+ and go forth from the city by night by the way of the gate between the double wall that is by the king’s garden,+ while the Chal·deʹans were all around against the city; and they kept going by the way of the Arʹa·bah.+

21 At length it occurred in the twelfth year, in the tenth [month], on the fifth day of the month of our exile, that there came to me the escaped one from Jerusalem,+ saying: “The city has been struck down!”+
