5 ‘and to Babylon he will take Zed·e·kiʹah, and there he will continue until I turn my attention to him,’+ is the utterance of Jehovah; ‘although YOU men keep warring against the Chal·deʹans, YOU will not succeed’?”+

3 And you yourself will not escape out of his hand, because you will without fail be caught and into his hand you will be given.+ And your own eyes will see even the eyes of the king of Babylon,+ and his own mouth will speak even with your mouth, and to Babylon you will come.’

16 “‘“As I am alive,”+ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, “in the place of the king who put in as king the one that despised his oath+ and that broke his covenant, with him in the midst of Babylon he will die.+
