24 Upon that the woman said to E·liʹjah: “Now, indeed, I do know that you are a man of God+ and that Jehovah’s word in your mouth is true.”*+

16 And Jeʹhu+ the grandson* of Nimʹshi+ you should anoint as king over Israel; and E·liʹsha*+ the son of Shaʹphat from Aʹbel-me·hoʹlah+ you should anoint as prophet in place of you.+

12 Then Je·hoshʹa·phat said: “The word of Jehovah exists with him.” Accordingly the king of Israel and Je·hoshʹa·phat and the king of Eʹdom went down to him.

9 At length she said to her husband:+ “Here, now, I well know that it is a holy man of God+ that is passing by us constantly.

32 And E·liʹsha was sitting in his own house, and the older men* were sitting with him,+ when he sent a man from before him. Before the messenger could come in to him, he himself said to the older men: “Have YOU seen how this son of a murderer+ has sent to take off my head? See to it: as soon as the messenger comes, close the door, and YOU must press him back with the door. Is there not the sound+ of the feet of his lord behind him?”

4 Now the king was speaking to Ge·haʹzi+ the attendant of the man of the [true] God, saying: “Do relate to me, please, all the great things that E·liʹsha has done.”+
