35 It was only that the high places did not disappear. The people were still sacrificing and making sacrificial smoke on the high places.+ He it was that built the upper gate of the house of Jehovah.+
11 He himself also had made high places+ on the mountains of Judah, that he might cause the inhabitants of Jerusalem to have immoral intercourse,+ and that he might drive Judah away.+
3 So he built again the high places+ that Hez·e·kiʹah his father had pulled down,+ and set up altars+ to the Baʹals+ and made sacred poles,+ and he began to bow+ down to all the army of the heavens+ and serve them.+
