8 And Jehovah’s indignation+ came to be against Judah and Jerusalem, so that he constituted them an object at which to quake,+ an object of astonishment+ and a cause for whistling,+ just as YOU are seeing with YOUR own eyes.

8 And I will make this city an object of astonishment and something to be whistled at.+ Every last one passing along by it will stare in astonishment and whistle over all its plagues.+

12 And he proceeded to carry out his words that he had spoken against us+ and against our judges who judged us,+ by bringing upon us great calamity, such as was not done under the whole heavens as what has been done in Jerusalem.+
