8 So we passed on away from our brothers, the sons of Eʹsau,+ who are dwelling in Seʹir, from the way of the Arʹa·bah,+ from Eʹlath and from Eʹzi·on-geʹber.+

22 He himself built Eʹlath+ and got to restore it to Judah after the king lay down with his forefathers.

6 At that time Reʹzin the king of Syria restored Eʹlath+ to Eʹdom,* after which he cleared out the Jews from Eʹlath; and the Eʹdom·ites, for their part, entered Eʹlath and kept dwelling there down to this day.
