10 Then David said to Jonʹa·than: “Who will tell me whether what your father may answer you is harsh?”

11 The mouth of the righteous one is a source* of life;+ but as regards the mouth of the wicked ones, it covers up violence.+

13 By the transgression of the lips the bad person is ensnared,+ but the righteous one gets out of distress.+

16 The wise one fears and is turning away from badness,+ but the stupid is becoming furious and self-confident.+

15 An answer, when mild, turns away rage,+ but a word causing pain makes anger to come up.+

31 Let all malicious bitterness+ and anger and wrath and screaming and abusive speech+ be taken away from YOU along with all badness.+

9 Also, YOU masters, keep doing the same things to them, letting up on the threatening,+ for YOU know that the Master* of both them and YOU+ is in the heavens, and there is no partiality+ with him.
