29 And, besides, the Excellency* of Israel+ will not prove false,+ and He will not feel regrets, for He is not an earthling man* so as to feel regrets.”+

14 Then Abʹsa·lom and all the men of Israel said: “The counsel of Huʹshai the Arʹchite is better+ than the counsel of A·hithʹo·phel!” And Jehovah himself had given command+ to frustrate the counsel+ of A·hithʹo·phel although good,+ in order that Jehovah might bring calamity+ upon Abʹsa·lom.

10 Know, then, that nothing of Jehovah’s word will fall [unfulfilled] to the earth+ that Jehovah has spoken against the house of Aʹhab;+ and Jehovah himself has done what he spoke by means of his servant E·liʹjah.”+

11 so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be.+ It will not return to me without results,+ but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted,+ and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.+
