3 “No Amʹmon·ite or Moʹab·ite* may come into the congregation of Jehovah.+ Even to the tenth generation none of theirs may come into the congregation of Jehovah to time indefinite,

11 And King Solʹo·mon himself loved many foreign wives+ along with the daughter of Pharʹaoh,+ Moʹab·ite,+ Amʹmon·ite,+ Eʹdom·ite,+ Si·doʹni·an+ [and] Hitʹtite+ women,

26 Was it not because of these that Solʹo·mon the king of Israel sinned?+ And among the many nations there proved to be no king like him;+ and loved of his God he happened to be,+ so that God constituted him king over all Israel. Even him the foreign wives caused to sin.+
