6 the said Ezʹra himself went up from Babylon; and he was a skilled copyist+ in the law of Moses,+ which Jehovah the God of Israel had given, so that the king granted him, according to the hand of Jehovah his God upon him, all his request.+

2 Accordingly Ezʹra the priest+ brought the law before the congregation*+ of men as well as of women and of all intelligent enough to listen,+ on the first day of the seventh month.+

26 These were in the days of Joiʹa·kim+ the son of Jeshʹu·a+ the son of Joʹza·dak+ and in the days of Ne·he·miʹah+ the governor and Ezʹra+ the priest, the copyist.+
