5 And the eye+ of their God proved to be upon+ the older men* of the Jews, and they did not stop them until the report could go to Da·riʹus and then an official document concerning this could be sent back.

18 So they brought to us, according to the good hand+ of our God upon us, a man of discretion+ from the sons of Mahʹli+ the grandson of Leʹvi+ the son of Israel, namely, She·re·biʹah+ and his sons and his brothers, eighteen;

8 also a letter to Aʹsaph the keeper of the park* that belongs to the king, that he may give me trees to build with timber the gates of the Castle*+ that belongs to the house,+ and for the wall+ of the city and for the house into which I am to enter.” So the king gave [them] to me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.+
