3 And E·liʹa·shib+ the high priest and his brothers, the priests, proceeded to get up and build the Sheep Gate.+ They themselves sanctified it+ and went setting up its doors; and as far as the Tower of Meʹah*+ they sanctified it, as far as the Tower of Ha·nanʹel.+

4 Now before this, E·liʹa·shib+ the priest in charge of a dining hall+ of the house of our God was a relative of To·biʹah;+
