15 And you must remember that you became a slave in the land of Egypt+ and Jehovah your God proceeded to bring you out from there with a strong hand and an outstretched arm.+ That is why Jehovah your God commanded you to carry on the sabbath day.+

26 And I began to make supplication+ to Jehovah and to say, ‘O Sovereign Lord Jehovah,* do not bring to ruin your people, even your private property,*+ whom you redeemed with your greatness, whom you brought out of Egypt+ with a strong hand.+
