14 And after this he built an outer+ wall for the City of David+ to the west of Giʹhon+ in the torrent valley and as far as the Fish Gate,+ and he ran [it] around to Oʹphel+ and proceeded to make it very high. Further, he put chiefs of the military force in all the fortified cities in Judah.+

3 And the Fish Gate+ was what the sons of Has·se·naʹah built; they themselves timbered it+ and then set up its doors,+ its bolts and its bars.+

10 And there must occur on that day,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “the sound of an outcry from the Fish Gate,+ and a howling from the second quarter,+ and a great crashing from the hills.+
