17 As for Israel, he will certainly be saved in union with Jehovah+ with a salvation for times indefinite.+ YOU people will not be ashamed,+ nor will YOU be humiliated+ for the indefinite times of eternity.

18 Let my persecutors be put to shame,+ but let me personally be put to no shame.+ Let them be the ones to be struck with terror, but let me personally not be struck with terror. Bring upon them the day of calamity,+ and break them even with twice as much breakdown.+
