7 And they went waging war against Midʹi·an, just as Jehovah had commanded Moses, and they proceeded to kill every male.+

10 Now Zeʹbah and Zal·munʹna+ were in Karʹkor, and their camps with them, about fifteen thousand being all who were left over out of the entire camp of the Easterners;+ and those already fallen were a hundred and twenty thousand men who used to draw the sword.+

4 For the yoke of their load+ and the rod upon their shoulders, the staff of the one driving them to work,+ you have shattered to pieces as in the day of Midʹi·an.+

26 And Jehovah of armies will certainly brandish against him a whip+ as at the defeat of Midʹi·an by the rock Oʹreb;+ and his staff will be upon the sea,+ and he will certainly lift it up in the way that he did with Egypt.+
