25 As cold water upon a tired soul,+ so is a good report from a distant land.+

20 We+ are therefore ambassadors+ substituting for* Christ,+ as though God were making entreaty through us.+ As substitutes for Christ we beg:+ “Become reconciled to God.”

2 and the things you heard from me with the support of many witnesses,+ these things commit to faithful men, who, in turn, will be adequately qualified to teach others.+
