33 And YOU I shall scatter among the nations,+ and I will unsheathe a sword after YOU;+ and YOUR land must become a desolation,+ and YOUR cities will become a desolate ruin.

15 “And it must occur that if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God by taking care to do all his commandments and his statutes that I am commanding you today, all these maledictions must also come upon you and overtake you:+

19 I do take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against YOU today,+ that I have put life and death before you,+ the blessing+ and the malediction;+ and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive,+ you and your offspring,+

29 And, besides, the Excellency* of Israel+ will not prove false,+ and He will not feel regrets, for He is not an earthling man* so as to feel regrets.”+

9 Jehovah* is not slow respecting his promise,+ as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.*+
