14 ‘And I will bring my vengeance on Eʹdom by the hand of my people Israel;+ and they must do in Eʹdom according to my anger and according to my rage; and they will have to know what my vengeance is,’+ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.”’

3 “Israel has cast off good.+ Let one who is an enemy pursue him.+

19 Do not avenge+ yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath;+ for it is written: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says Jehovah.”*+
