13 Then he brought out from there all the treasures of the house of Jehovah and the treasures of the king’s house,+ and went on to cut to pieces all the gold utensils+ that Solʹo·mon the king of Israel had made in the temple of Jehovah, just as Jehovah had spoken.

16 And to the priests and to all this people I spoke, saying: “This is what Jehovah has said, ‘Do not listen to the words of YOUR prophets that are prophesying to YOU, saying: “Look! The utensils of the house of Jehovah are being brought back from Babylon soon now!”+ For falsehood is what they are prophesying to YOU.+

2 In time Jehovah* gave into his hand Je·hoiʹa·kim the king of Judah+ and a part of the utensils+ of the house of the [true] God,* so that he brought them to the land of Shiʹnar*+ to the house of his god; and the utensils he brought to the treasure-house of his god.*+
