21 O how the faithful town*+ has become a prostitute!+ She was full of justice;*+ righteousness itself used to lodge in her,+ but now murderers.+

9 Therefore I gave her into the hand of those passionately loving her,+ into the hand of the sons of As·syrʹi·a, toward whom she had lusted.+

2 Carry on a legal case with YOUR mother;+ carry on a legal case, for she is not my wife*+ and I am not her husband.*+ And she should put away her fornication from before herself and her acts of adultery from between her breasts,+

15 “All their badness was in Gilʹgal,+ for there I had to hate them.+ On account of the evil of their dealings I shall drive them away from my own house.+ I will not continue on loving them.+ All their princes are acting stubborn.+
