16 But they were continually making jest+ at the messengers of the [true] God and despising his words+ and mocking+ at his prophets, until the rage+ of Jehovah came up against his people, until there was no healing.+

10 Make the heart of this people unreceptive,*+ and make their very ears unresponsive,*+ and paste their very eyes together, that they may not see with their eyes and with their ears they may not hear, and that their own heart may not understand and that they may not actually turn back and get healing for themselves.”+

21 Over the breakdown+ of the daughter of my people I have become shattered.+ I have grown sad. Outright astonishment has seized hold of me.+
