16 Be minded the same way toward others as to yourselves;+ do not be minding lofty things,+ but be led along with the lowly things.+ Do not become discreet in YOUR own eyes.+

31 and those making use of the world+ as those not using it to the full; for the scene of this world is changing.+

6 To be sure, it is a means of great gain,+ [this] godly devotion*+ along with self-sufficiency.*+

5 Let [YOUR] manner of life be free of the love of money,+ while YOU are content+ with the present things.+ For he has said: “I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you.”+
