13 From there they pulled away and went camping in the region of the Arʹnon,+ which is in the wilderness that extends from the border of the Amʹor·ites; for the Arʹnon is the boundary of Moʹab, between Moʹab and the Amʹor·ites.

9 from A·roʹer,+ which is on the bank of the torrent valley of Arʹnon,+ and the city that is in the middle of the torrent valley, and all the tableland of Medʹe·ba+ as far as Diʹbon;+

18 When they walked on through the wilderness, they went their way around the land of Eʹdom+ and the land of Moʹab, so that they went toward the rising of the sun as respects the land of Moʹab*+ and took up camping in the region of the Arʹnon; and they did not come within the boundary of Moʹab,+ because Arʹnon was the boundary of Moʹab.+

7 Therefore Moʹab will howl for Moʹab; even all of it will howl.+ For the raisin cakes of Kir-harʹe·seth+ the stricken ones indeed will moan,
